Mumbai got one more Mahila Dak Ghar

Today, on the occasion of 106th International Women’s Day, Lalbauag Post Office inaugurated as Mahila Dak Ghar by Shri S. K. Sinha, Member (HRD) Postal Directorate in Mumbai. The function was attended by Shri P.K. Bisoi, CPMG, Maharashtra Circle, Shri H. C. Agarwal PMG Mumbai Region, Shri D. Manoj GM (Finance), Dr. Vinod Kumar DPS (HQ), Shri Pradeep Kumar DPS Mumbai Region, Ms Simran Kaur SSPOs, Mumbai City East Division and staff members.

Lalbaug Post Office is located near world famous Lalbagcha Raja Ganpati in the busy commercial area of East Mumbai.  The office, which will be open from 10.00 hours to 18.00 hours, offers both traditional and modern postal services like booking of all registered and speed post articles, e-Money orders, e-payment of utility bills like MTNL besides the Post Office Savings Bank transactions.

Netaji Market Post Office Sitabuldi Nagpur - 440012 has also identified as 'All Women Post Office' and Inaugural function was conducted today in the presence Smt Vandita Kaul Hon'ble PMG, Nagpur. 
Currently, the Maharashtra Postal Circle has a total staff strength of 26468, out of which 5008 are women.
